Behavioral Health Technician/Driver

Our Behavioral Health Technician Driver is a direct care position with a primary responsibility of interacting with and supervising clients in treatment and providing transportation services. The Charlotte Hall Drug & Alcohol Residential Treatment Center has served local communities for more than 40-years providing treatment through structured programs guiding our clients through detox, residential care, medication-assisted treatment and family education for both men and women. Under a passionate leadership team, Pyramid Healthcare in Charlotte Hall offers comprehensive behavioral healthcare for our clients to help develop the strength they need to overcome life’s challenges and allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete the intake process with new clients into program
• Maintains client documentation
• Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable
• Coordination of client activities
• Follows objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs
• Provide client transportation
• Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provides response including crisis intervention
• Maintains safe, clean, and orderly physical environment
• Assists with the dietary needs of clients
• Transport clients to and from specified locations within expected time frames
• Supervise and support clients while transporting
• Maintain all necessary documentation associated with services provided
• Completes all required trainings.
• Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Drug and Alcohol/ Mental Health experience.
• Facilitating process groups and family sessions.
