Job description

What Customer Service Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Customer Operations is responsible for core customer operation processes. These can include customer and vendor contract administration; customer and vendor pricing, rebates, unexpected returns, order entry and processing, customer set up and account maintenance, and servicing customer escalation requests.

Job Summary

Demonstrates knowledge of customer service processes, return policies, systems, controls, and work streams. Possesses understanding of service level goals and objectives when providing customer support.


Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates experience working in an investigative environment coupled with strong internal controls.
  • Works collaboratively to respond to non-standard requests under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly pivot focus to numerous tasks.
  • Potential to collaborate with team members and other functional areas
  • Capability to work from home and come in office as needed.
  • Ability to work Overtime as needed.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience preferred
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Must live within 1 hour radius of LaVergne, TN for onsite visits

  • Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete standard tasks
  • Works on routine assignments that require basic problem resolution
  • Refers to policies and past practices for guidance
  • Receives general direction on standard work; receives detailed instruction on new assignments

Anticipated hourly range: $15.70 per hour - $22.50 per hour.
