Job Description

Bilingual Temporary Case Aide

Pay Rate: $19/hr.

Location: Houston, TX 77006

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am -5:00pm

A non-profit organization is seeking a Bilingual Temporary Case Aide to join their team. With your strong organization and communication skills, you will profoundly impact the organization by ensuring the successful integration of refugees within the local community. Submit your resume today!

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with basic needs such as transportation, orientation, and accessing community resources.
Serve as a liaison between clients and Case Managers.
Provide translation and interpretation services as needed to facilitate communication between clients and program staff or external service providers.
Offer emotional support and encouragement to refugees as they navigate the challenges of resettlement.
Ensures that case files are opened and all documentation in the case file is accurate and completed in a timely manner.
Provide orientations to clients on-site at locations such as banks, credit unions, apartments, and grocery stores to teach them how to carry out day-to-day functions.
Support Case Managers with administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and maintaining program materials.

List Qualification or Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.
One (1) year experience in an administrative setting.
Valid Texas Driver’s License.
Flexibility in work hours may be required to accommodate clients' schedules.
Basic computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet, and database software).
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
