Currently, we have a unique opportunity for YOU to join our high-speed manufacturing team for the Keg Department at the historic Coors Brewery in Golden Colorado! We are seeking qualified candidates with experience in manufacturing, warehousing, and machine operation who are looking for long term employment, excellent growth opportunities, and a competitive benefits package at one of Colorado's top employers.

As a Keg Specialist, you will start training as a Loader/Unloader or in the Quality Control position. There are 2 production Keg lines that are run by the same production team. (Pay rate starts at $20.00/hr)

Keg Department Loader/Unloader: You will be operating forklifts to load/unload the kegs to and from the production line. This is fast paced - high forklift traffic! (Previous SIT-DOWN forklift experience REQUIRED for this position (at least 6+ months of sit-down forklift experience.))

Keg Department Quality Control Production Worker: You will perform quality checks on keg date codes and caps. You will support the production team with escalating quality concerns and troubleshooting on the production line.

Keg Specialist position responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsibilities, at a high level, include production equipment startups, shutdowns, product changes, line/equipment trouble shooting, problem solving, preventative maintenance, clearing jams, and cleaning & sanitation of all equipment on their assigned line.
  • Complete the required training and certifications in a timely manner that qualifies the individual to perform the duties of operating the machines, equipment, and inspections.
  • Always perform assignment/job tasks safely, following company safety procedures and policies.
  • Ensures all processes are completed to meet the product quality and company standards, as well as the customer satisfaction goals of the company. Also ensures and inspects incoming materials meet those requirements on a continual basis.
  • Uses World Class Supply Chain principles and best practices as the method to most effectively complete their work. Utilizes the appropriate personal communication and social skills required to work with others in a team-based environment to achieve the team’s performance metrics as well as Department, Plant, and Company Goals.
  • Performs minor preventative and corrective maintenance (autonomous maintenance), lubricates all machinery as required, troubleshoots, and takes appropriate action or makes necessary operation adjustments to resolve issues. Ensures that the equipment is running efficiently and producing quality product. Ideally possesses the basic mechanical and technical skills to accomplish the required machine adjustments and maintenance
  • Read and correctly interpret packaging schedules, understands, and follows job procedures, work instructions, as well as special notices and/or instructions.
  • Complete necessary reporting concerning productivity, quality, safety, maintenance, line information, manpower schedules, station control, and waste monitoring, and training records in an accurate, timely and legible manner.
  • Performs a mixture of the following duties as required: line checks of equipment, accident investigation/ follow-up, hazard analysis, audits, attends meetings, and other duties as assigned by the business.
  • In time, you may be required to train and certify other employees.

Minimum Job Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Required education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Sit down forklift operating experience (6 months minimum)
  • Manufacturing/Machine Operation experience (*Experience in high-speed manufacturing equipment and/or industrial machinery preferred.)
  • Clear understanding of Lock Out/Tag Out process, Try Out safety programs preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently, as well as within a team.
  • Able to accurately read/follow written instructions & perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Proven mechanical aptitude preferred

There are multiple shifts available!

1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. You must be comfortable working overtime and working weekends when workload demands.

Shifts are as follows:

  • 1st shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
  • 2nd shift: Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm
  • 3rd shift: Monday-Friday 11pm-7am

After 90 days, you’re eligible to apply directly with MolsonCoors for a permanent position.
