School Nurse Needed - Highly Competitive Rates

Bridgeline Staffing is currently seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team and provide exceptional healthcare services to an Elementary School in Bellevue, WA.

Role Description: As a School Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of students during school hours. Your primary duties will include providing medical care, administering medications, assessing student health needs, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to promote a safe and healthy learning environment.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Administer first aid and emergency care as needed
• Monitor and manage student health conditions
• Administer medications according to school policies and procedures
• Conduct health screenings and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized health care plans as needed
• Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Collaborate with school staff and community resources to promote health and wellness initiatives

Qualifications:

• Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Washington
• Previous experience working with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations
• Understanding of school health policies and procedures
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
