Job Description: Swim Admin Assistant/Coach (Part-Time)

Life University Swimming is looking for a dynamic and compassionate individual to serve as a Swim Admin Assistant. This can be a combined position as an Assistant Coach for Diving, for the right person, or it can remain two separate positions.

This individual will be responsible for Deck coaching of specific group, making travel plans, social media posts and other administrative duties as needed. Additionally, this person will be asked to travel to competitions assisting with daily organizational duties. As the Diving Coach the person will be responsible for organizing diving practices, meet entries and recruiting divers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with any coaching needs at practices.
• Manage training sessions for divers during season.
• Help with administrative duties such as meet entries, hotels, meals, social media, fundraising.
• Assist with recruiting operations.
• Lead meet day operations like warm-up, cool-down and post-race feedback.
• Assist with athletics operations/sports information during offseason.

Requirements

• Proficient knowledge and experience in the sport of diving (High Dive IQ)
• Must be available for all practices and competitions.
• Must be self-sufficient.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Ability to relocate equipment and supplies to various locations for athletic events.
• Ability to drive and travel to various locations.
• Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
