Job Description

Pockets Full of Posies Child Development Center is looking for enthusiastic, loving, self-motivated, flexible and dedicated child care professionals interested in spending their days playing, guiding and exploring with infants through preschool aged children.

In adapting to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we work to ensure an environment focused and tailored to protect the health and safety of our children and our staff.

We are a small center, located in Northeast Portland, in operation for 20 years! Our philosophy draws from a blend of RIE, Reggio Emilia, and Montessori principles. We believe in positive guidance and inviting environments in a low tech space, and supporting and building our community in this challenging time.

Minimum requirements for hire:

-enrollment in the Oregon Central Background Registry

-at least one year experience in a certified child care center for a teaching position. (Less than one year experience can be considered for a Teacher Aide position, please inquire to discuss more.)
