Job description

Amergis Staffing is currently seeking 6+ ECE Early Childhood Education School Aides for the 2026/2027 school year in the Buena Park, CA area.


The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee.  The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional. 


Position Details:

Pay: $21 / Hr. 6+ ECE Credits | $20 / Hr. School Aide | $25 / Hr. ECE Lead 24+ ECE Credits

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours/Week: 8 Hours Weekly / Can lead to full time

Start Date: August 2026

Length: 2026/2027 School Year


Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice 
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements   
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
