Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer specializing in real-time systems to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop embedded software solutions for real-time applications in robotic systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.

  • Implement real-time operating systems (RTOS) and develop device drivers for various hardware components, sensors, and actuators.
  • Optimize software algorithms and performance-critical code for efficient execution on resource-constrained embedded platforms.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of embedded software components to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues related to embedded systems, including timing constraints, concurrency, and synchronization.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in embedded software development, real-time systems, and robotics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in embedded software development, with a focus on real-time systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ for embedded platforms, with a strong understanding of memory management, low-level programming, and optimization techniques.
  • Extensive knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and experience with scheduling algorithms, task management, and inter-process communication.
  • Hands-on experience with embedded development tools, debuggers, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing environments.
  • Familiarity with robotics frameworks and middleware such as ROS (Robot Operating System) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues in embedded systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
