Telecommunication Technician

We are seeking Telecommunication Technicians to become an integral part of our team! Our customer is doing a remodel at several branches around town. You will be removing the old office hardware and install the new data communication systems including cabling, demo, dropping walls, terminating station and closet sides. Also building out new workstations and packing up the old workstation equipment for disposal.

This project is Friday through Monday, with an occasional weekday for some locations, work at various branches of a nationwide bank. We have 6 months worth of jobs on the books with more coming. We need technicians that understand working in an office environment, able to terminate twisted pair, read drawings, upload deliverables to a customer based portal. Also must be able to carry a ladder, materials and have your own tools ( ie punch tool,4 pair tester, labeler, standard hand tools ). We also have other opportunities for additional hours through out the week as well. 

Responsibilities:

• Supervise installation and maintenance of communication systems
• Provide training and support to telecommunications personnel
• Investigate customer issues and design appropriate solutions
• Order and maintain inventory stock supplies

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in telecommunications installation including Cat 6 ethernet terminations. 
• Familiarity with telecommunications equipment
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
