Job Description

We offer precision manufactured products to a vast customer base located throughout the US and overseas. Our current growth opportunities bring us to seek experienced Calibration Technician to satisfy and support our growing customer base.

Calibration Technician:

Calibration Technician who specializes in lab calibration of products produced used in fluid measurement and processing system such as flow meters, pumps and machinery. This position consists of full time employment with occasional overtime. The ideal candidate must have a broad knowledge for mechanical test calibration and the ability to set up and operate calibration equipment with little to no assistance. Candidate who can perform calibration and maintenance of equipment and systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency in their operation. Candidates must demonstrate a professional and positive attitude as well as the passion for continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and document calibration test certification to products produced in accordance to API MPMS Chapter 4.9.4. policies, procedures and ISO 17025 guidelines
  • Follow established calibration test procedures to ensure accurate and consistent results
  • Maintain calibration of test equipment, measuring instruments, and systems according to set standards and specifications
  • Identify potential faults in test equipment and systems and troubleshoot issues
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other personnel to ensure calibration test procedures meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Must be able to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during product test calibration
  • Maintain a 5-S work area along with equipment PM

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience with deep understanding of the principles and concepts related to measurement, calibration, and instrumentation
  • Experienced in engineering, electrical and mechanical technology
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams
  • Must have good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
  • Ability to use and tools and perform assembly and disassembly of mechanical devise and apply intricate adjustments on equipment
  • Experience with computer based calibration test equipment and software
  • Strong foundation in mathematics, must perform calculations and interpret numerical data
  • Must have excellent communication skills with customers, colleagues and supervisors
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of quality, safety, and regulatory standards, such as ISO 17025 and ISO 9000
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Must have excellent attendance and punctuality with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
