JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for oversight of the maintenance dept. and must be knowledgeable in all

functions of plant maintenance. Ability to perform General Maintenance work maintaining

building, small machines, heating systems plumbing, electrical, etc.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment to include several

years directing the work of other maintenance employees.

• Electrical or Mechanical Journeyman license is preferred.

• The ability to interpret schematics and drawings.

• Working knowledge of PLC controllers and process instruments.

• Possess strong problem-solving skills, above average organization abilities, and excellent verbal

and written communication.

• Proven leadership skills to evaluate and positively influence performance.

• Possess the capacity to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities/tasks on a routine

basis.

• Must be detail oriented and notice even the smallest of issues that may become bigger problems

in the future.

• Strong industrial math skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prioritize and address maintenance issues of equipment and facilities as they arise.

• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair

manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.

• Direct, coordinate, and monitor maintenance personnel and external contractors.

• Provide maintenance status and technical information on an as needed basis for the

President/COO, or other respective department supervisor.

• Design, implement, and maintain a preventative program for equipment utilizing a PM software

program.

• Make improvements to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and the

facilities of the production plant.

• Enforce policies, processes and systems of the ISO quality management system in supporting

the execution of the Company business plan.
