Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop relative aspects of a MuleSoft integration project based on requirements.
- Design the MuleSoft integrations including data flows, interfaces, and protocols.
- Utilize MuleSoft's data integration capabilities, such as DataWeave, to transform and manipulate data between systems.
- Determine the working relationship between existing applications, systems, databases, interfaces and / or hardware and the integration of new initiatives around Mulesoft.
- Create RESTFUL API's based on the business requirements.
- Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications.
- Create RAML (RESTful API Modeling Language) definitions for process and system API layers.
- Communicate MuleSoft solutions effectively through documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft applications for deployment automation and version control.
- Define MuleSoft integration governance policies, including API governance, security policies, naming conventions, and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with the Business Analyst and Development teams, as well as stakeholders, to ensure smooth implementation of MuleSoft integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve MuleSoft integration issues, performance bottlenecks, and scalability challenges.
- Ensure development is delivered on time per specifications.
- Follow best practice software development lifecycle and methodologies.
- Protect operations by keeping internal and non-public information confidential.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or High School diploma and equivalent relevant work experience required.
- 5+ years' Integration experience required.
- 3+ years of development experience in MuleSoft.
- Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using Maven, Jenkins, BitBucket, GIT and Mulesoft.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies
- Deep understanding of XML, SOAP, WSDL, RAML, REST, HTTP, JSON, MQ.
- Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication).
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to professionally interact with team members across departments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and objectively.
- Proficient in MSO/365 applications such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
