Inside Sales/Support Specialist

Our client is a supplier of building and manufacturing products.Locally owned for40+ years,they service a wide variety of clientele, ranging from construction to industrial to hydroelectric. They have an excellent reputation for customer service, and are looking to grow their small, collaborative team by adding an Inside Sales Representative to join their team in Tigard, OR.

Job:

As the Inside Sales/Sales Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing a robust book of existing business across the globe. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills, be highly organized, detail-oriented, and a team player. Day to day, you will be responsible for inbound sales activities, answering phone calls, responding to emails, checking on status of deliveries and more. Your rapport-building skills, strong work ethic, and ability to wear multiple hats will help you grow a long, successful career with the potential of growing and managing the sales department.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of industrial sales or customer service experience OR experience selling to government entities is a huge plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required
• Previous experience in sales or customer service in an office environment is preferred.
• Experience with government contracting.
• Experience working in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment is a plus. Working in a similar industry (e.g. fasteners, nuts, bolts, and anchors) is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
