Job Summary:

Our Supply Chain Manager leads the overall supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory, warehousing, selection of vendors, and distribution of finished goods. Through your leadership you will enable us to establish a dynamic/responsive supply chain system that allows us to meet/exceed the needs of our customers. This role will develop and implement a strategic plan to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. The Supply Chain Manager negotiates with vendors to obtain optimal contracts and pricing. In addition, this role will utilize data monitoring and analytics to evaluate past performance and trends and forecast inventory and distribution requirements. The Supply Chain Manager will validate the technical execution of our compliance policies/procedures and proactively work to improve business systems and performance across all their areas of responsibility. You will be working with departments such as sales, customer service, and operations, so you need excellent organizational and communication skills. You will need to be a critical thinker and an avid problem solver as well.

Essential Functions:

• You are a customer centric leader that leads by example and constantly looks for ways to elevate our performance
• Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the teams, employees and that enable us to drive a positive customer experience
• Oversee the vendor and supplier development/selection process and keep alignment with the enterprises strategic plan
• Develop and oversee strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors
• Establish and oversee purchasing policies, procedures, workflows, compliance, and best practices
• Develop, negotiate and administer purchasing agreements and contracts with suppliers in support of the company's organizational requirements
• Manage/create plans and systems to mitigate risk to quality, cost, delivery, and supply base
• Develop Supply Chain and Vendor/Supplier Scorecards to achieve strategic goals and drive a customer centric focus
• Design and implement a space utilization plan for material storage, equipment and receiving
• Oversee the development and implementation of quarterly physical inventory counts and complete reconciliation by serial number
• Ensure purchase order placement is in accordance with enterprise policies and contracts
• Build staffing models to keep all departments appropriately staffed in a fast-growing company
• Proactive communications to keep the staff continuously informed, as well as management aware of successes and challenges

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of Supply Chain Leadership experience required
• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience leveraging teams and partners to deliver breakthrough ideas and accelerate growth
• Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, and Google Workplace applications
• Proven leader; experience in startup operations preferred
• History of customer centric leadership style and process development
• An analytical mind with strong attention to detail
• Organizational and logistic skills
• Ability to lead/coach team to identify and solve problems
• Ability to exercise sound, independent decision-making
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: $81,952.00 - $122,982.00 DOE. Silencer Central offers a competitive total compensation package that includes:
