Role Overview: We are seeking a versatile IT Support Specialist primarily focused on supporting end user activities and inventory management. This includes responding to queries from customers to correct desktop issues, granting access to various systems, providing training on using desktop applications, patch management, etc. This role also includes inventory management including shipping, preparation, and tracking of hardware assets.  Troubleshooting of desktop systems and access issues as it occurs, and proactively working to increase the efficiency of existing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Support large number of calls and tickets
• Answer basic connectivity support issues for various platforms
• Remote support ability through RMM platform
• Working understanding of multiple OS’s (Microsoft/Apple/Ubuntu variations)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Successfully complete Projects as assigned that align with business strategies
• Proactively identify, escalate, help resolve IT issues
• Serves as POC for blue team escalations
• Coordinate with vendors as needed to ensure products are delivered on time
• Support IT projects such as patching, system upgrades, hardware refreshing, inventory management, mitigations, hardware preparation, and installations
• Experience with PowerShell 
• Willingness to learn new processes and techniques
• Support company internet
• Provide basic training to staff as required on how to use various software and systems.
• Support provisioning of roles
• And other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Two years desktop support preferred
• High School diploma

Additional Requirements:

• All end-users are remote so scripting and RMM skills are greatly preferred
• Helpdesk coverage is onsite in Salmon, ID
• Microsoft certifications a plus
