JOB DESCRIPTION:

Construction Project Manager preferred over Data Center vertical builds over our electrical systems OR work with large capital commercial projects with an electrical focus.

Conduct regular meetings on project progress with sales and field project management, order engineering, operations, engineering, contracts, and finance.
1. Build internal and external relationships to facilitate execution of the project management process.

2. Construction management helping with logistics, contractors, vendors, internal and external customers.
3. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to perform order transition from sales and clean order entry.
4. Be fully aware of the contract for the design of the project, and of the client's objectives to ensure contract requirements are met and overall client satisfaction.
5. Be well-versed with the master services and procurement agreement, pricing structures, equipment needs, etc.
6. Build and maintain a project communications plan, maintaining strong customer relationships (including our rep agents and channel partners) throughout the project lifecycle
7. Build, maintain and communicate a project schedule (milestone matrix) with internal and external stakeholders.
8. Oversee and coordinate the technical aspects of projects at a component, assembly, and electrical system level.
9. Build and communicate a project financial baseline; drive the project financials utilizing a change log while optimizing any opportunity to advance the projects financial position through proactive change management.
10. Ensure all internal ERP systems are kept current with accurate schedule and financial details.
11. Ensure all project details and financial/schedule records are maintained in proprietary project management software.
12. Coordinate and act as the liaison between the customer / field project management team / sales team, and production operations during throughout the lifecycle of the project.
13. Attend meetings, phone calls, and site visits, to keep apprised of project demands / changes.
14. Coordinate equipment startup and warranty resolution after installation at the site.
15. Maintain productivity through the expeditious closeout of existing projects, allowing for acceptance of new projects.
16. Engage with sales and PDI factory representatives to remove project management workload from those individuals allowing for greater levels of productivity by those individuals.
17. Full engage and take ownership of all post po order activity in the assigned project portfolio.
18. Manage customer shipment schedule requirements.
19. Coordinate customer requirements for onsite services including startup, commissioning, and warranty resolution.
