Job Description
IMKO is currently looking a shipping/customer service clerk for a local client in Columbia, MO.
Hours: 9a-3:30p. (32 hours/week)
Pay: $18-$20/hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities:
  • Obtain and process product orders.
  • Respond to all written and verbal communications from customers regarding status of orders, shortages, shipping errors, delivery dates, price quotes, complaints, credits, and order tracking and returns.
  • Notify customers about availability problems, delays, and quantity errors.
  • Communicating with customers to meet delivery and maintain desired quality standards.
  • Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items.
  • Schedule and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items.
  • Keep files of goods shipped and received.
  • Handle issues that arise in shipping or inventory handling.
  • Identify and advise manager of problem areas, i.e. part shortages, shipping delays, service failures, highly dissatisfied customers, ect.

Qualifications:
  • Proven work experience as a shipping clerk or similar role.
  • Customer service experience is a must.
  • Basic computer and phone skills.
  • Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to sit at a computer or stand for long durations.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be reliable and flexible as hours may change throughout the week as needed.
