JOB SUMMARY

Carroll Hospitality is currently seeking an experienced Inspector team member who will be responsible for supervising and inspecting guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and lobbies for one of our hospitality properties in the Greensboro, NC area and ensuring all guests have a clean and safe home-away-from home experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides support to Executive Housekeeper to ensure that guest satisfaction expectations are met and exceeded, including performance of open/close procedures, as needed
  • Work with and train room attendants to ensure daily tasks are completed timely and accurately
  • Inspect housekeeping carts and closets to ensure that they are properly stocked at all times
  • Communicate with the Front Office staff of any housekeeping delays or issues and make necessary changes to room status
  • Assigns work to cleaning personnel and trains personnel in housekeeping duties
  • Posts room occupancy records
  • Addresses and resolves guests issues regarding housekeeping service or equipment
  • Examines carpets, drapes and furniture for stains, damage, or wear; writes and submits requests for room supplies and furniture renovation, redecoration, or replacements
  • Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent, 1-2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience cleaning in a hotel/hospitality environment is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency using MS Office and relative software systems
  • Must be trustworthy, punctual, have a positive attitude with attention to detail, and be committed to high quality customer service
  • Must possess solid verbal, written, and reading English communications skills to effectively interpret information, write routine reports, and speak effectively to guests, other team members and personnel
