Job description

Our beautiful hotel is currently searching for a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Service Attendant to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food and beverage to guest rooms, ensuring our valued guests have an enjoyable in-room dining experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills. . This position is Part Time on Saturday and Monday mornings from 6:45am-2pm, with potential for additional shifts throughout the week. Base + tips averaging $16-$21/hr.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Taking guest food and beverage orders over the phone
  • Understanding all menu items, their garnishes, contents and preparation methods and be able to confidently relay this information to a guest
  • Delivering meals and beverages to guest rooms in a timely and courteous manner
  • Monitoring and restocking inventory, as well as ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of service areas
  • Upselling and offering additional menu items to guests (pairings, desserts, etc.)
  • Picking up room service trays in guest hallways
  • Adhering to established policies and procedures, as well as food and beverage standards
  • Providing exceptional service to guests, addressing and resolving any issues or concerns as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
