Job description

The Hotel Room Inspector is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while also providing courteous, and efficient service to all guests.
 
Responsibilities 
  • Inspect room for cleanliness
  • Check for damaged linens 
  • Report lost and found articles and maintenance problems to a supervisor  
  • Prepare rooms for guest arrivals and respond to special guest requests 
  • Record room status on work assignment sheets
  • Strip all beds and change linens in checked-out rooms, vacuum, sweep, dust, and clean rooms to hotel standards
  • Knowledgeable on Marriott Brand Standards or willing to learn.
  • Inspect rooms cleaned by housekeeping staff for cleanliness
  • Report any inconsistencies to team members to correct.
  • Assist in quarterly inventory
  • Assist Executive Housekeeper with other daily duties. This includes but is not limited to; creating housekeeping boards, ordering inventory, and conducting stand-up.
  • Other duties as assigned  
Qualifications
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred
  • Attention to detail 
  • Professional appearance (uniform will be provided)
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
  • Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Ability and flexibility to work weekends and holidays
