Construction Project Superintendent

Job Description

• Efficiently Manage All Aspects of Commercial & Residential Projects
• Salary $75,000 - $100,000 Annually
• Preserve the trust of our established clients from the past 50+ years of being in business
• Apply previous Carpentry & Management experiences of construction projects
• Manage & Drive multiple full-cycle construction renovations, remodels, and mitigation/restorations to completion
• Conduct site surveys, define scope of work, create budgets, supervise crews, and professional client interactions
• Ability to write an Estimate
• Collaborate with employees, clients, engineers, architects, insurance agents, etc.
• Partner with onsite leads to coach and direct in-house carpentry staff and sub-contractors
• Ensure all local, state, and national building codes, regulations, and safety precautions are followed
• Willingness to contribute to a supportive and collaborative team culture
• Problem Solve using working knowledge of rough, trim, and finish carpentry
• At times, respond to on-call emergency services such as water & fire mitigation, structure damage, etc.
• Utilize Construction Management software such as Xactimate, Sage, Microsoft Projects, etc.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ Years of Construction Management Experience
• 5+ Years of previous Carpentry Experience
• 5+ Years of Construction Project Software experience
• Current valid drivers’ license and the ability to operate motor vehicles

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous construction business owner
• IICRC and Xactimate certifications or experience
• 5+ Years of estimating job cost and labor experience
• Available to travel for out-of-state site meetings

Essential Physical & Cognitive Requirements

• At times; lifting, pulling, pushing of objects
• Ability to individually lift and/or carry 50lbs
• Ability to multi-task, read, write, calculate data have reliable & predictable attendance
