Bone Density Equipment Operator (Contract)

The Bone Density Equipment Operator position is a critical team member to drive a seamless experience for individuals who want to understand their body composition at a deeper level.

Position Summary:

The Bone Density Equipment Operator will work as a trusted contractor of Human Powered Health. In this role, they will perform and oversee scans to obtain body composition and bone density data. The Bone Density Equipment Operator will also assist in related administrative support for the Human Powered Health Performance Lab.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Dual Energy X-Ray Absorptiometry (DXA) scans and required procedures.
• Conduct and oversee athlete assessment and screening within the scope of practice.
• Generate a report of results and their interpretations.
• Provide support in maintaining area and supplies, and performs other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience operating a DXA machine.
• Graduate of a School of Radiology Technology - Must have and maintain current MA licensure as a radiographer.
• Current registration and licensure through the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certified in Bone Densitometry, or certification from the International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD) is required.
