Position Summary:
The Housing Case Manager position functions as a pivotal link between community resources and tenants, ensuring the preservation of stable and supportive housing environments. With an emphasis on sustaining tenancy and promoting housing stability, they collaborate closely with residents. This position is responsible for fostering positive relationships and serves as a key advisor, guiding tenants through adherence to disaster response plans and protocols dealing with accidents or health-related issues.

RESPONSIBLITIES
- Offer vital support in daily activities, including organizing individual files for each head of household (HOH), handling calls and messages, scheduling one-on-one meetings, arranging appointments, aiding in the creation and upkeep of monthly financial plans for residents, and overseeing housing stability goals.
- Facilitate smooth move-ins, guaranteeing property safety and upkeep. Extend a warm welcome to new residents by fostering connections with the team and neighbors,and gathering necessary information for seamless onboarding.
- Record resident conduct breaches and engage in discussions with counselors and the Housing Program Manager
- Operate office equipment and software proficiently, managing and organizing messages, and generating reports as directed by the Housing Program Manager.
- Ensure tenants meet household responsibilities and offer training as needed.
- Assist with apartment cleaning after tenant move-outs.
- Complete unit and building inspections; determine work orders needed
- Adhere to health and sanitation standards set by the Department of Health and local Health Districts to prevent disease spread.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team regarding significant repairs or upgrades to operational systems.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred
.
Experience:
• Prior experience with the homeless population or populations with high clinical needs.
Experience using Microsoft and comfortable using new software products
Licenses/Certificates/Registration:
