Product Manager

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join the team and help build our next generation of student transportation software applications. In this role, you will own and manage a product line, creatively solve business problems, have a keen eye for product design, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable and secure products. Position is hybrid 3 days in office, 2 days WFH.

Salary Range: $115,000-130,000/year, based on experience + bonus potential

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of products
• Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for our product solutions
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, analytics, design, and operations, to define and prioritize features in the product roadmap
• Create, prioritize, and maintain a detailed roadmap that aligns with actionable outcomes, company goals, and customer requirements
• Work closely with stakeholders and customers across the organization to understand their needs and challenges
• Translate user feedback and requirements into actionable product features and enhancements
• Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements, use cases, user stories, and acceptance test criteria
• Communicate product updates, milestones, and key performance metrics to internal teams and stakeholders
• Collaborate with user-focused departments to define the self-service user experience, support, and monitoring for customers
• Define and execute go-to-market plans, working to ensure that product management, marketing, and sales have what they need to be successful
• Develop and maintain appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment
• As a part of normal business operations, employees in this role may access and/or modify electronic Protected Health Information (ePHI) in a manner compliant with requirements set forth by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of product management experience for web-based, B2C, B2B, SaaS, and mobile applications
• Proven record of accomplishment in delivering data-driven solutions with a customer-first mindset
• Established background in launching software or managed service in partnership with engineering and stakeholder teams
• Experience successfully driving end-to-end delivery of data and intelligence solutions, including a wide variety of mechanisms, e.g., dashboards, APIs, real-time monitoring, workflow pipelines, etc
• Experience with Marketplace, Compliance, Gig-economy, User workflow platforms a plus

• Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a customer-first focus
• Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen
• Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage, influence and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
• High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability
