Position Summary: Provides friendly, responsive service to create such an exceptional dining experience for all our guests, that they want to return.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and observe guests’ dining experience to ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service and respond promptly and courteously to correct any problems.
• Prepare tables for meals, including setting up linens, silverware, and glassware.
• Present menus to guests and answer questions about menu items, including how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods. Describe any menu changes and daily specials making recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
• Take food and/or beverage orders.
• Take and enter guests’ orders into POS for transmittal to kitchen and bar staff.
• Check guests’ identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
• Serve food or beverages to guests and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required.
• Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes.
• Collect payments from guests.
• Prepare hot, cold beverages for guests and chilled bottles of wine.
• Clean tables or counters after guests have finished dining.
• Set up food stations or set up dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties.
• Bring wine selections to tables with appropriate glasses and pour the wine for guests.
• Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens.
• Fill salt, pepper, sugar, cream, condiment, and napkin containers.
• Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping and mopping floors, tidying up server station, taking out trash and checking and cleaning of the bathroom.
• Complete all side work required before the end of your shift.
• Turn in all receipts and monies owed to the closing manager on duty before leaving.
• Run food to guest tables.
• Knowledge of table and seat numbers in restaurant.
• Thank the guests for their visit and invite them to return.

Base Pay and Compensation:

The Server will receive an hourly wage ranging from $16.00 - $17.00, plus tips. This position is a part-time position and will require you to work weekends, days, afternoons, and holidays as needed.

• Ability to work effectively with kitchen staff.
• Ability to learn how to use the necessary tools and technology supporting this position and the efficient operations of the business.
• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Able to attend all scheduled employee meetings and training courses, including safety meetings.
• Completion of Food Handler’s Card required within 30 days of employment.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

• Server/Food service experience required.
• Responsible Beverage Service Training (18+)
