Automotive Parts Associate

Job Summary:
The Automotive Parts Associate at McSweeney Chevrolet GMC/ CDJR in Clanton, Alabama is a full-time role in the customer service department of the automotive industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing superior customer service and support to our valued customers and technic in regards to automotive parts. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by answering parts inquiries, recommending and selling appropriate parts, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
- Identify and locate hard-to-find or specialty parts for customers.
- Process and track customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain proper inventory levels and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the parts department.
- Stock incoming parts and conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with the service and sales departments to ensure efficient and effective customer service.
- Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in the automotive industry or customer service is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer and inventory management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
