DRIVER'S LICENSE IS REQUIRED

This is a hybrid position that combines basic Warehouse/Shipping and Receiving tasks with Dispatch. If chosen for this position you will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders. Delivering inventory to field service technicians, In addition to managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

The Dispatcher is the central hub of communication between the Customer and Technician. The position will require you to answer phone calls, and then communicate effectively with the necessary Technicians in response to the request. The Dispatcher ensures that the appropriate Technician is routed accurately to the correct location at the requested time; ensuring prompt, courteous, and efficient service to all Customers. The ideal Dispatcher must remain calm, clear, and in control at all times. The Dispatcher must be dependable and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment.

Duties:

Prepare orders Pull, properly pack, and ship items

Load and unload equipment from semi’s using pallet jack or forklift.
Intake customer calls and build the service request into the system.

Track shipment arrival and departure times
Receive inventory in the warehouse daily
Verify all incoming shipments for accuracy
Accommodate and carefully handle fragile packages and materials
Tag and label parts and supplies with accuracy
Organize stock and inventory within the warehouse in their designated location
Record and report impaired or damaged items
Replenish inventory for field technicians
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat
Organize and clean warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
May also assist in counting of physical inventory Other duties as assigned
Dispatches service jobs to the technician’s board
Routs technician’s schedules
Calls customers with appointment times
Provides the highest level of service to the Customer
Professionally communicates the service needed to Customers and Technicians
Distributes calls in a way that maximizes company productivity but with a focus on good departmental fairness
Establishes follow-ups with the department of any jobs that require a return visit
Quickly and efficiently learns the dispatch software in the Company’s business system
Provides positive interactions with our Technicians and the administrative staff
Working overtime may be necessary occasionally

Physical Demands:

Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs
Comply with all applicable OSHA standards
Continuous sitting in an office environment
Continuous use of hand and finger dexterity when operating a keyboard
Continuous use of sight to view information on a computer screen

Qualification Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
1-2 years warehouse experience preferred
Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Works well under pressure and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance
Computer literate
Detailed, dependable and honest professional with the ability to type quickly and accurately
Team Player
Dependable
Organized
Driver's license and acceptable driving record
Some Dispatching experience required
Must be able to work rotational on-call as needed
Proficient customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Must be motivated, a self-started, and able to follow through on duties and assignments with minimal supervision
