Job Description

Turbocharged high-performance engine developer and manufacturer, Banks Power, is looking for a thorough Quality Inspector that communicates well with both internal and external partners. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our industry-leading products. You will sit within our Engineering department, reporting to Product Development Manager.

We're unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.

Main Responsibilities

Inspect products supplied by vendors prior to warehousing/inventory/shipping, including: visual, dimensional, and functional inspection of all products.
Maintain records of quality checks and testing.
Maintain records of first article inspections. Generate First Article Inspection Report (FAIR).
Work with Engineering to create check fixtures as needed.
Support Engineering in determining product disposition.
Identify possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, plus a minimum of 2 years' professional experience as an Inspector or Quality Technician.
Understand manufacturing methods and processes.
Ability to use own judgment to determine disposition.
Ability to read basic blueprint dimensioning.
Experience using geometric measuring tools, including digitizers and 3D scanners.
Intermediate digital literacy, including familiarity with 3D scanning.
Experience drafting reports and collating data.
Attention to details, excellent communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

Mechanically inclined
An associate degree or equivalent
Experience working in automotive aftermarket industry

Hourly pay

$20—$25 USD

Actual pay offered to candidates will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, relevant candidates' experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
