Resident Care Aide - Days, Casual

OPEN POSITION:

Position: Resident Care Aide

Department: Memory Care

Location: Northwood Meadows, Cass City, MI

Hours: Casual. Days. No Benefits.

Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a casual Resident Care Aide in our Northwood Meadows department. We are looking for those who have a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are constantly striving to provide the highest quality of services for our patient.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma
• Previous experience in working with older adults desired. Must have a genuine desire to assist older adults with dementia.
• Med Pass in Assisted Living: 1 year (Preferred)
• Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by physician.
• Record medications administered in the resident’s record.
• Ensure accuracy and quality control of all medications.
• Documentation of events and incidents.
• Communicate appropriately with residents, family members, physician, support staff, and ancillary care providers.
