Field Service Technician

KL Maintenance LLC is a family operated business located in Martinsville, IN. We are looking for motivated, energetic, and caring technicians who can start immediately. As a technician, you will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team to ensure desired company growth. The ideal candidate will be an experienced technician who excels in customer service, are great problem solvers, thrive in a challenging environment, are positive team players, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of technical ability, quality, value, and integrity to our customers
• Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of systems
• Travel to job sites in service area and work with dispatcher to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer
• Be available to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers
• Maintain good working order of company vehicle, equipment, and electronics
• Maintain stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle
• Document details of services and parts provided to customers electronically through iPad applications
• Maintain and update customer database with complete and accurate information.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent
• 2+ years of field experience (pay based on ability & experience).
• Basic computer skills for iPad and cell phone communication and documentation
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays - if needed
• Ability to Troubleshoot and Repair Problems Quickly and Accurately.
• Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communications.
• Ability to build trust and demonstrate empathy.
• Engaging personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Strong ability to diagnose, repair or replace various brands of restaurant equipment.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and tight spaces.
• Must be a team player!
