Accounting Manager

Professional Search Group OC is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our clients financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations. The Accounting Manager will oversee 5 accounting professionals and report directly to the Controller.

Professional Search Group OC is proud to partner with this large lighting manufacturer in Palmdale, CA. The position is full onsite in Palmdale, CA.

Accounting Manager Duties:

• Manage and supervise the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Perform account reconciliations and analyses to maintain the integrity of financial data
• Cash management / Cash forecasting
• Oversee accounts receivable processes and collections
• Ensure compliance with SOX, GAAP, and IFRS standards
• Develop and monitor budgets to support financial planning and decision-making
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors for periodic audits
• Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management

Accounting Manager Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in an accounting management role
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting preferred
• Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and analysis
• Experience with Manage 2000 (Epicor) and Yay Pay a plus
• Familiarity with SOX, GAAP, and IFRS regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
