Job Description

Key Personnel is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to work for a well-respected Law Firm in Tulsa, OK!

The Paralegal role is a full-time, in-office position located in Tulsa, OK. This position will assist with insurance litigation under supervision of Partners and Associates of the Firm.

Paralegal Duties and Responsibilities:

Familiarity with basic pleadings, service of process requirements, and discovery.
Retrieve, organize, index and summarize documents and medical records.
Create, maintain and utilize internal and external document databases and systems.
Perform legal research, both manual and computer assisted, and compile applicable data from a variety of reference sources.
Organize interview memos, witness statements and other relevant documents for attorney review and case preparation.
Trial setup and preparation including organization of exhibits, files and all other supporting documents.
Tracking and entering applicable billable time.
Some additional clerical tasks accompany the position.
Some overtime may be required on evenings or weekends.

Paralegal Required Qualifications:

Graduation from an American Bar Association approved Legal Assistant/Paralegal Program or Certification through NALA, NFPA or NALS, or bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university
Two years or more of complex litigation experience, insurance defense and/or extracontractual bad faith insurer defense preferred

Paralegal Salary and Hours:

Direct hire position targeting around $80,000/yr. DOE
(Monday-Friday) 8:30 am - 5:00 pm position. Some overtime will be necessary.
