POSITION OVERVIEW:

The IT Support Manager works closely with the Support Center, Shipp Distribution, and Bakery locations to ensure that all technical and deployed IT solutions are working to Nothing Bundt Cakes approved specifications. The IT Support Administrator will serve as the administrator of technical systems and will address and/or escalate problems to ensure issues are resolved quickly and efficiently with a customer service mentality.

IT Systems include, but are not limited to, network infrastructure, ITSM ticketing system, communication systems, Windows and Apple devices, JAMF, Microsoft 365 suite including Defender, Entra, Exchange, and Azure AD. Cross-training with POS and Bakery Technology support will be needed to ensure we always put Bakery’s needs first.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Network and Infrastructure

  • Manage and support network infrastructure for the Nothing Bundt Cakes support center and Shipp warehouses.
  • Administer Office 365 suite.
  • Asset management and procurement for company equipment.
  • VoIP phone system support for support center, Warehouses, and bakeries.
  • Administer support ticketing system and monitor for trends to be proactive.

Desktop and User

  • Issue, archive, troubleshoot and repair laptops, MacBooks, and mobile technologies.
  • Support general IT software and hardware.
  • Orientation and training to users for current or new technology.
  • Troubleshoot and support Bakery Technology as needed.
  • Manage and support VoIP hardware and services.
  • Printer maintenance.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Customer service mindset required.
  • Proficiency in a variety of technology systems, especially Microsoft 365 and Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and able to adapt to new systems quickly.
  • PC/Mac Troubleshooting skills required.
  • PC/Mac configuration experience required.
  • Basic network troubleshooting skills required.
  • Microsoft Windows & MacOS platform troubleshooting skills desired.
  • Associate degree, Trade certification or High School diploma with equivalent experience.
  • Experience with JAMF, InTune (Entra), Unifi, FreshDesk, and Toast POS are a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ENVIRONMENT / WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Office environment. This position requires being in office 5 days a week in the Addison/Dallas TX area.
  • Extended periods of sitting, typing, and looking at a computer screen. May also require some reaching, bending, and lifting.
  • Occasional walking, standing, and lifting equipment up to 40 pounds and climb ladders and stairs.
  • Travel up to 5% of the time to nearby Bakeries or Shipp Distribution center for support.
