ABOUT THE POSITION:

Turning Point Action is seeking a motived individual to assist in one of the nation's largest and most innovative educational operations. The Distribution Admin is responsible for printing, fulfillment, packaging, and shipping. Daily tasks include training and operation of print machinery and producing all printed materials at the TPAction Phoenix Warehouse. This job also includes assisting quality control as well as maintenance of items that are stored at TPAction Headquarters. A candidate qualified for this position would be prepared for physical work, and time management in an adaptive environment. This is an entry-level position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Reliable in multitasking and time management
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to operate pallet jack, step stool, wheeled bin, cardboard baler, wrench, screwdriver, pliers, shrink wrap machine, box knife
  • Flexibility, enthusiasm for dynamic work environment
  • Self starter and self motivated
  • Attention to detail and organization
  • Have reliable transportation to take deliveries or shipments
  • Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of packaging material

"WOW!" SKILLS:

  • Prior involvement with Turning Point Action or campaigns.
  • Prior use of Google Suite or other relevant programs.
  • Prior use of Airtable or other relevant basic design platforms.
  • Knowledge of Stamps.com and freight shipping
  • Experience in teamwork and interpersonal skills.
