Job description

LHH is partnering with a well-established organization in the transportation and supply chain industry to identify a Claims Administrator for their growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys investigating issues, managing documentation, coordinating with multiple parties, and helping ensure shipments and carrier relationships stay on track.
The Claims Administrator will serve as a key contact for freight claims while also supporting carrier compliance and onboarding activities. This role offers a blend of problem-solving, administrative support, and relationship management within a fast-paced logistics environment. This is an onsite position in Columbus, OH.
Responsibilities:
  • Review and process freight claims involving damaged, delayed, lost, or disputed shipments
  • Gather and maintain supporting documentation, including delivery records, proofs of delivery, photos, and carrier paperwork
  • Communicate with carriers, customers, and internal teams regarding claim status, resolutions, and reimbursement activity.
  • Support carrier onboarding efforts by verifying insurance coverage, operating authority, and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with operations teams to address carrier issues, reduce risk, and support service quality initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • At least one year of previous experience in logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, supply chain, or claims administration
  • Understanding of freight claims
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
  • Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment
Pay Details: $53,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
