As a PCB Designer, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of electronic systems by designing, testing, and optimizing printed circuit boards for various applications. You will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure that PCB designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with internal and external cross functional engineering teams to architect and design highly complex PCBs integrating state-of-the-art processors, FPGAs, and systems on a chip (SOCs) with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, DDR3/4/5, Multi-gigabit Transceivers)
  • Create schematic diagrams and layout designs for PCBs using industry-standard design tools such as Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro
  • Establish strong relationships with vendors to select appropriate electronic components for PCBs based on performance, cost, and availability considerations
  • Optimize PCB layouts for signal integrity, power distribution, thermal management, and manufacturability to meet project requirements and standards
  • Perform design validation tests such as signal integrity analysis, and design for manufacturability (DFM) checks to ensure PCBs meet performance specifications and industry standards
  • Create comprehensive documentation including PCB design files, bill of materials (BOM), assembly drawings, and manufacturing instructions to support the production and assembly of PCBs
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in PCB design and manufacturing to continuously improve design processes and methodologies

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of industry experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience in PCB design and layout using industry-standard design tools (e.g., Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro)
  • Strong understanding of electronic components, circuit design principles, and PCB manufacturing processes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve design issues
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to PCB design and manufacturing (e.g., IPC standards)
  • Experience with PCB assembly and prototyping processes is a plus
