Field Service Technician

We are currently seeking a well-qualified Field Service Technician. This role is part of a dynamic team, and our ideal candidate will be autonomous, driven, hands-on, and possess a results-oriented, proactive, "can-do" entrepreneurial attitude when working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Qualifications:

• OEM process equipment experience (10 years)
• Mechanical transmission experience: motors, brakes, belts, chains, gears, pillow blocks, bearings.
• Pneumatics experience: values, solenoids, life cylinders, air actuators, plastics & metal tubing.
• Precision maintenance
• Ability to read assembly/mechanical drawings.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Troubleshooting and diagnostic ability.
• Experience in FDA/OSHA compliant plants.
• Ability to travel 60-75% of the time.
• Ability to wear PPE, bend, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs., and put hands into small places.
• A valid driver's license, passport, working vehicle, and no travel restrictions.
• Can reliably commute to the plant/office location in Middlesex, NJ.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Associates degree (required)
• Programmable logic controller: 10 years (Required)
• Mechanical knowledge: 10 years (Required)
• Welding: 10 years (Required)
• Electrical experience: control panel wiring, PLC, relays, switches, VFD.
• Ability to interface well with customers
• Forklift and crane operation
• Training in cGMP and proper documentation
• Spanish is a plus
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley components and software updating.
• Experience in powder blenders and dryers.
• Pharmaceuticals experience.
