Full-time Accountant will provide specific supporting and analytical reports related to the fiscal function of the agency to include, but not limited to, financial statements, schedules, and other related analysis work, as well as purchasing, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Responsibilities:
- Complete reconciliations for all bank accounts monthly.
- Collect and submit all accounts receivable, including donations by cash, check, and credit card.
- Support the accounts payable and purchasing function as necessary.
- Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
- Maintain schedule of prepaid assets.
- Create and maintain recurring and standard journal entries.
- Assist Executive Director with all audit requests.
- Provide end user training relating to accounting policies and procedures.
- Monthly reconcile all restricted fund accounts.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education, Training, and/or Related Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- Minimum three years’ experience in accounting.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of personnel.
- Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Financial statement preparation and interpretation.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain high level of confidentiality.
