Transportation Dispatcher

AM Home Delivery is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Dispatcher to join our team. As a Transportation Dispatcher you will play a crucial role in our fleet and terminal operations, you will work closely with the routing manager ensuring efficient best in class deliveries and customer satisfaction. ***Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound / outbound communication, such as phone calls and e-mails to include company driver’s and assigned contractors issues and customer deliveries..
• Monitor routes and resolve any transportation issues that arise such as delays, delivery issues and customer complaints providing timely and effective solutions.
• Manage all required paperwork and records and prepares documentation (forms, KPI reports, etc.) as needed.
• Administrative support to routing managers and assigned terminal operations.
• Assist safety and compliance team and communicate with drivers obtaining updated DOT documents as needed.
• Create invoice charges for pick up orders.
• Manage COI request and submissions for final mile deliveries.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish)
• High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred.
• Microsoft Office Skills, with expertise in Excel.
• One year of relevant experience Preferred.
• Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor.
• Highly professional and dependable.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
• Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent telephone skills.
• Strong computer and internet skills..
