Job Description

Our client, a mid-sized law firm located in White Plains, NY is seeking to hire for 2 positions: a Trusts & Estates Paralegal and Legal Assistant.

Ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience in Trusts & Estates. Fiduciary Accounting and tax preparation experience a plus!

Salary $65-80K (DOE) plus benefits; in office M-F

Responsibilities:

Conduct research to support legal proceedings
Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Record and store client information

Qualifications:

3+ years experience as a legal assistant or paralegal (preferable with Trusts & Estates)
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Familiarity with legal research
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
