Salary: $5k - $7k per month / part time consulting contract

Employment Type: Contract (Part Time)

Retainer Range: $5k - $7k per month DOE

We are seeking a Sales Operations Manager to join our growing organization and expanding Sales department.

In this role, reporting to the Commercial Leader, you will be able to take pride in contributing directly to our organization’s growth and our Sales initiatives. Our Sales Operations Manager will have solid experience and knowledge in overseeing and streamlining the sales process within an organization. and ideally have broad sales and analytics experience. This is a longer term contract position with future potential to turn into a permanent position. 

  

Primary Responsibilities  

  

  • Work within the Challenger Sale Methodology to implement sales processes for sales team 
  • Research and analyze data to create sales forecasts 
  • Collaborate with other departments and upper management to identify business goals 
  • Recruit, hire, and train sales representatives 
  • Create and manage automation tools to increase sales process efficiency 
  • Implement and manage CRM tools to maximize opportunities and customer relationships 
  • Manage sales staff and provide training on day-to-day sales operational activities 
  • Monitor and report on sales performance 

  

Key Competencies  

  

  • Communication skills for effective verbal and written communications with sales teams, operations specialists, collaborating departments, and upper management 
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for sales process improvements and develop and implement new strategies 
  • Financial skills and business acumen to understand sales profitability and opportunities 
  • Technology skills to utilize CRM and database software tools in daily tasks 
  • Research and reporting skills to analyze sales data and consumer trends to create sales forecasts  
  • Ability to work in a remote team environment 
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word  
  • Advanced user of HubSpot CRM required 
  • Working knowledge of the Challenger Sale Methodology 

  

Education and Experience  

  

  • 5+ years of sales operations management Experience 
  • 3+ years of sales experience 
  • Experience leading and building a team 
  • Experience in Industrial/Manufacturing space highly preferred 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or other relevant field 

  

  

This is a virtual role. Candidates must be in the USA only. Minimal travel, as business needs require. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
