Please note that this range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

Essential Functions:

• Strong analytical ability to perform the day-to-day accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL and payroll with support from the existing finance team.
• Execute month-end close procedures and ensure timely and accurate transactions have been accounted for.
• Support employee expense and reimbursement processes company wide.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc financial reports for the leadership team.
• Support the accounting team as needed during the annual financial audit and tax preparation times.
• Participate in creating efficient processes for scale across the accounting organization.
• Meet and exceed established individual performance goals and KPI’s.
• Additional responsibilities as they relate to the position and needs of the department.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting, finance or related field plus 2-4 years related experience is required.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Experience in the genetics or genomics industries is a plus.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting competencies, internal controls and US GAAP. Knowledge of Sage Intacct accounting system is also a plus.
• Strong organizational skills in order to facilitate information, meet set deadlines and expectations, and execute accurate completion of all required procedures.
• Strong proficiency in various operational systems and applications such as Google Sheets and Docs, Zoom, Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication (verbal, written and listening) skills and able to collaboratively engage with all levels of employees and teammates to work towards dynamic solutions.
