Production Supervisor Off Shift

Job Description:

We are hiring for an on-the-floor Production Leader & Planner located in Hastings, MN. We believe the ideal candidate is a pet lover who is willing to grow with us – starting as our Production Supervisor and possibly growing into a Production Manager or Other Management position. This opportunity will get you in on the ground floor of a Company on the verge of rapid growth.

Shift Hours

Maybe looking for 2 people:
1 person for Saturday-Monday working hours 1pm-1am, 36 hours, but paid for 40
1 person Tuesday-Friday working hours 12pm-10pm

Objective

Coordinate, lead and supervise shift manufacturing operations team to achieve Royal Pet's goals operating within all established policies, procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• PURPOSE OF JOB:

  · Hire/Train/Coach Employees of all production areas (mixing, extrusion, injection, packaging, QC Tech)

  · Monitor and resolve personnel problems by investigating issues, identifying solutions and recommending actions

  · Ensure Mixers have batch sheets according to planned production

  · Monitor the receiving of ingredients for quality and correct labeling

  · Inventory control, making sure FIFO is followed, alert management of any inventory issues

  · Organize workflow and assign responsibilities to staff making sure to follow SQF, HACCP, GMP’s,

  · Assist staff with set up of machines for production runs

  · Ensure the safe use of equipment

  · Oversee and manage equipment maintenance and repairs

  · Communicate with factories/vendors for existing machine troubleshooting and new equipment

  · Monitor/Review production output, identify issues in efficiency and suggest/implement improvements

  · Ensure all daily production forms are completed thoroughly

  · Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards

  · Maintain safe and clean work environment

  · Manage daily/weekly/monthly cleaning/sanitation

  · Maintain a tour ready facility at all times

  · Misc tasks as assigned
