Systems Implementation Project Manager

Position Summary:

The Systems Implementation Project Manager will be a member of the team responsible for systems implementation, diagnosing database program issues, end-user train-the-trainer efforts, and ensuring systems innovation to improve overall productivity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Extensive collaboration with all departments across the organization, as well as interfaces with external interfacing organizations, to manage the implementation and enhancements of new and existing systems.
• Manage the upgrade of systems and new systems implementation.
• Research the latest technologies in database and system design.
• Design and implement systems to collect, maintain and analyze data.
• Manage projects to ensure minimal disruption.
• Provide training and customer support.
• Establish needs and oversee the organization wide technology system.
• Ensure the safety and integrity of data.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and queries.
• Regularly test systems.
• Continuously and proactively identify process improvements.
• Prepare reports as directed.
• Train the trainers for programmatic and operational and administrative uses .
• Stay up to date on the latest technological innovations and trends.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience in software implementation project management.
• Experience in healthcare, government healthcare, managed care organizations.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of three years of experience in software implementation, technical consultancy, and project management.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, database management, or a related field, or equivalent.
• Strong experience in Project Management (Prefer PMP or CAPM certification).
• Knowledge of Sandata, or other similar healthcare, client/patient centric, billing-based systems, is highly desired.
• Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Advanced computer literacy.
• Proven ability in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Expertise in computer software and hardware environments.
• Experience with database management systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Some understanding of the developmental disability community and the services they frequently need.

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity equipment/machinery such as copy machines, printers etc.
• The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
• The ability to observe, identify, and recognize details at close and long range.
• Frequently moves boxes weighing up to 30 pounds across office for various needs.
