About Maddox + You:
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills as part of the management team. Are you an experienced CFO, VP or Director of Finance looking for a challenging role at an established company?
Responsibilities include
- Implement and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives
- Direct, review, and prepare budget management and financial planning functions
- Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance
- Take ownership of insurance and risk management
- Supervise all operations of the finance and accounting department
- Work with department managers to develop annual and five-year business plans
- Oversee the preparation of financial forecasts and outlooks
- Establish short and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
- Evaluate and sustain forecasting and budgeting models
- Supervise all financial reporting preparation
- Perform financial analysis for contract negotiations and investment decisions
- Manage the hiring, training, and retention of finance staff
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.
- Lead and manage all finance and accounting related activities for our affiliate, subsidiary and related entities (multi-company experience preferred).

- Industry Segment: Industrial Equipment, Sales and Distribution, Manufacturing/Remanufacturing
- Employees: 250+
- Annual Revenue: $500m+
- Ownership: Privately/closely held, no anticipation for any capital transactions on the horizon.
- Growth Strategy: We're a high growth (organic growth) business, doubling revenue every 12-18 months for almost a decade (M&A or public markets experience is not particularly applicable to this role).
Can this job be performed remotely?
We prioritize healthy office cultures, and feel that the greatest contributions from someone in this role will include being present in one of our offices around the county. Preferably Battle Ground, WA, Greenville, SC, Moscow, ID, or Batavia, OH. Must be US

Experience & Education:
10+ years of related experience. Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or a closely related field strongly preferred. CPA designation required.
Travel Expectations: Depending on your location, quarterly travel to one of our various sites around the country would be appropriate.
Pay: We are advertising a large range in this position (starting between $190k and $325k / year) because we are willing to consider Director of Finance, VP of Finance, or CFO candidates with a range of experience and contribution levels. We intended to pay at least 110% of applicable market comparables.
