Job Description

This is a full-time on-site Field Service Technician role located in Northeast, NY, Northern New Jersey and Connecticut . The Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance, repair, and installation of medical equipment. The Field Service Technician will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on equipment as well as testing and calibrating equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

Technical skills including knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems and their operation and repair
Ability to use diagnostic equipment and software
Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical medical devices necessary
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience working in a healthcare environment is a plus
Associate's degree in Electronics, Biomedical Equipment Technology, or a related field is preferred, but candidates with equivalent work experience will be considered
