Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Perform variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
Manage fixed assets, including depreciation schedules and reconciliation.

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant for a direct hire opportunity in Beachwood.. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: $60 - $80k and full benefits.
M-F 1st shift

Manage fixed assets, including depreciation schedules and reconciliation.
Review and approve accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
Provide support and guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.
Stay current on accounting regulations and industry trends.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification preferred.
4+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with QuickBooks preferred).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Provide support and guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.
Stay current on accounting regulations and industry trends.
