Operations Production Supervisor 1st Shift

Summary of Position:

Oversee the workflow and needs of the operations staff in different areas including embroidery, warehouse, shipping, receiving & heat seal while working in conjunction with CIC’s and Production and Operation’s Manager. Continue to learn Operations’ department functions as they evolve. Is expected to continuously look for ways to eliminate waste and improve processes. Some of the other key responsibilities of this position are;

• Enforce the standardized work chart functions are being performed throughout all operations departments.
• Direct the training of associates on operations processes and equipment.
• Manage team functions and SWC processes in all areas of Operations.
• Behave, speak, and respectfully treat others while watching and directing workflow.
• Ensure the One-Piece Flow process is followed.
• Evaluate associates to provide help with improving and/or correcting performance and behavior.
• Participate in the Performance Review process.
• Performing daily product reports and transactional functions.
• Work with CICs and/or Managers on assigned projects.
• Increase leadership skills and various tasks to allow you to progress to the next career level.
• Manage Attendance processes.
• Perform additional duties as the position evolves or as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Candidate should have a high school diploma and experience working in a production or operations-related lead role.
• The candidate needs excellent problem-solving capabilities and professional conduct.
• Must be to direct others and work without direct oversight. The ability to manage multiple priorities and other Operational functions.
• Knowledge of Lean Principals and continue to learn how to view work areas to offer improvement for eliminating waste.
• Will need a proven ability to work well with others and good verbal and written communication skills.
• Need the skills or capability of learning Microsoft products such as Microsoft Email, Word, and Excel and AX.
• Will need to be available to work overtime, which may include the weekends.
• This position is categorized as Safety Sensitive.

Work Schedule:

• 1st shift: Monday-Friday 7:00AM - 3:35PM - $27.00 Hourly
