Overview of the Position Responsibilities: The Talent Acquisition Manager will develop and implement creative and innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates. This position will work directly with candidates and partner with hiring managers daily. They are responsible for interviewing and screening candidates, scheduling interviews, negotiating offers, and executing new hire pre-boarding activities.

What You Will Do:

  • Identify staffing and recruiting needs; develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management.
  • Actively source and monitor qualified candidates using UKG applicant tracking system (ATS), job boards, social media platforms, employee referrals, etc.
  • Partner with hiring managers and leadership teams to understand their talent needs and build hiring strategies.
  • Develop effective relationships within the organization and the hiring community to influence and impact the recruiting process and hiring.
  • Create and maintain an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity, and competitive advantage in support of the company's diversity and inclusion strategic plan.
  • Manage full life cycle recruitment (post, source, prescreen, schedule, background, references, offer, onboarding, etc.).
  • Complete hiring process within defined metrics to minimize overall time-to-start.
  • Develop appropriate marketing strategies, define roles and responsibilities of hiring team, and develop service-level agreements to ensure an effective and efficient recruitment lifecycle while minimizing cost-per-hire.
  • Partner with the Director of HR Operations to collect and coordinate aggregate data for talent pool and translate those data into insights through data analysis that drives deliberate action plans at the appropriate levels.
  • Provide leadership, support, advocacy, and vision to talent associates. Oversee the daily workflow of the talent acquisition team.
  • Manage full life cycle recruiting, engaging with candidates from the screening phase through offer negotiation.
  • Build phenomenal pipelines of diverse talent with an emphasis on creating extraordinary candidate experience.
  • Manage high volume searches simultaneously with attention to meeting customer deadlines.
  • Represent Company at job fairs, college career days, and other external recruiting events. Develop and maintain sources for qualified applicants through networking with community and civic organizations.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

What You Will Need: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required.
  • 5+ years of experience as a full life-cycle recruiter, including experience with proactive sourcing and candidate offers and closing required.
  • 4+ years of leading talent acquisition teams required.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR preferred.
  • Active and proven experience using UKG’s HRIS and ATS.
  • Ability to leverage innovative research & sourcing methods to hire for niche areas, hard to fill roles, and candidates with diverse skillsets.
  • Demonstrated recruiting success using social media platforms.
  • Ability to effectively source and engage passive candidates through various recruiter tools.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, including the ability to articulate ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively. 
  • Adept at identifying potential project roadblocks and developing mitigation strategies. 
  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to achieve results effectively and professionally. 
  • Effective time management with the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines. 
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite: Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, Excel, OneNote.
  • Proficiency in reporting, creating tables, process flow charts, and analytics.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test prior to starting employment.
